This is my A2 media blog, I hope you enjoy reading through my blog and looking at my final products - Film magazine, Film poster and Teaser trailer.

My research and planning starts 20th June 2011 and finishes 23rd March 2011. My evaluation starts 23rd March 2012 and finishes 18th April 2012.

My completed magazine, poster and teaser trailer is found on the 28th April.

Research and Planning: Film magazines.

Some film magazines that are out now are:

Empire
This magazine is published every month by Bauer consumer media. The first issue was July 1989.  This is the largest film magazine company at the moment with a close competitor; Total film.  It runs an annual show 'Empire awards' and sponsored by Sony Ericsson.  It reviews mainstream films and art films. It not only reviews it also have most film news and previews.  It sometimes has special editions which have transcripts from famous scenes in famous films. The price is £4.10.

Total film
Total film is published every 4 weeks. It was first published in 1997.  It offers film news, reviews and film releases. It also have interviews and photoshoots.  It has 6 different sections in the magazine which are: Dialogue, Buzz, Agenda, Screen, Lounge and Total film quiz.  It also has got a website, forum, facebook and twitter, Tumblr and smartphone app.
