Research and Planning: Film influences

We have some films which have influenced the idea of our film plot. They have influenced use by: Cinematography, plot lines and mise-en-scene. 

• Paranormal activity:  This has influenced us with cinematography, this is all filmed held hand.  Keisha and I feel this is a good technique for horror films and think it would look good in our film trailer.

• Shroons: This has influenced us with the mise-en-scene,  this is set in the woods.  We feel this is a good setting for horror films, and gave us the idea of a woodland area for our film trailer.

• Wrong turn: This has also influenced us for mise- en-scene as this is also set in the woods.  It has also influenced our editing and cinematorgraphy with the articles of the curses. We feel this would look good if we have articles in our trailer.
• The Blair Witch Project:  This has influenced us on cinematography and plot idea.  This is all set in the woods with hand held camera.  The characters are looking for a curse and all teenagers.  This is what we would like ours to be like.
